So, I applied to be an Island Batik Ambassador again in 2018 and was happy when I found out that I was accepted back! It is such a fun program and I find my fellow Ambassadors wonderfully creative and inspirational. The monthly challenges also help me to exercise my creativity in ways I would have never thought of without the monthly challenges.

Gifts and Goals

Last weekend was the Arizona Quilter's Guild Fall Meeting. For those that aren't familiar with AQG, it is HUGE. The guild spans the state with chapters that meet all over the place. Because of the size of the guild, there are only 2 meetings a year that encompass all the chapters. One in fall, and one in spring. This one was close, and I was asked to be there to vend for Bernina Connection. Since I wanted to attend this worked out great.

A Much Needed Finish

Have you ever just needed to finish something for your sanity? Like the projects just keep piling up but nothing seems to get finished? This is the state I found myself in when starting the March Island Batik Ambassador project. The theme, like last year in March, was Mini Madness. It had to be smaller than 24" x 24", and had to be foundation pieced or english paper pieced.
