Wow! I can't believe we are already on week 6 of the Creative Spaces Blog Hop! Where did the time go? This really has been a fun blog hop to participate in. It has been nice to learn from other designers and have a chance to share my space with everyone! A big thank you to Cherry Blossom Quilting & Tamarinis for organizing such a great hop! This, our final week, we are talking about rulers and tools!
This week I am mostly going to focus on rulers. Not where I am today, but where I want to be. My goal had been to get my pegboard hung on the wall before this post, but it just wasn't meant to be. With school for the kiddo starting, and summer wrapping up, there just weren't enough hours in the day to get it painted and hung.
Now, ideally I will eventually have 2 pegboards side by side, painted and hung. This way I will be able to spread all my rulers out, and hang my scissors and cutters up high. Right now, as you can see, I have one board leaning up against a small set of shelves with the rulers hanging on it. There are quite a few on each hook. This is still progress from the start of the hop where they were all laying on one side of my cutting table!
I covered most of my tool storage in the Week 3: Organization tips post. The only thing I want to adjust for tools is to get the sharp things, rotary cutters, scissors, hung up high where I can use them easily, and the kiddo cannot access them and hurt himself. Just to recap though, they are currently in a small set of re-purposed drawers in the top row of my cubbies.
Thank you for stopping by and hopping along! Hope you enjoyed the post and the hop. Don't forget to visit everyone. Also, don't forget to enter the giveaways.
