I am just going to come out and say it. I’m an organized mess. Always have been, probably always will be. While I dream of having a beautiful, tidy studio like Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio, that is a long time away. Until about a year ago I was crafting on our dining room table, and over the past year I have been slowly migrating everything to our spare bedroom. That alone with life a lot of life changes left no time to really settle in. Add in Quilt Market and Missouri Star Academy and my creative space was way beyond my normal state of chaos

When Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis asked me to be a part of the Creative Spaces Blog Hop, how could I refuse? So here it goes, like others, I am embarrassed of the before pictures.

Of course, it must get worse before it can get better. I took the time to go through some boxes in the closet space, so I could purge and increase my storage space.

My next Island Batik Ambassador box came on the day I had pulled everything out of the closet, so I committed to not open it until there was some sense of order in my space. How is that for motivation to clean?

Throughout this process I had a ‘helper’. She was often found sleeping on the job, holding down a box, or inspecting a pile of fabric.

Now I just finished getting things settled last night so I didn’t get any good daylight pictures, but here it is, and as you can see the Island Batik Ambassador Box did remain unopened. The computer desk still needs some work, but there is a huge difference everywhere else.

Be sure to enter my giveaway for one of my patterns of your choice.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and don't forget to visit all the other participants to get a peak inside their studios!
