Frequency Quilt - Blogger's Quilt Festival

The start of fall can be signaled by many things. Leaves changing colors, colder weather, yummy fall threats, but being from Arizona, where fall is still in the 90s, I know it's fall when the Blogger's Quilt Festival starts.

For those new to the blogger's quilt festival, Amy Ellis hosts it over on her blog, Amy's Creative Side. Participants are able to enter up to two quilts, and every year many talented quilters gather and share their creations.

My first entry was the Sand Crabs Mini that I made for one of the Island Batik Ambassador challenges. Today my entry is my Frequency Quilt. This quilt was my first design ever accepted for Island Batik's catalog using the Drizzle fabric collection.

I wrote a previous blog post with some close-up pictures of the stunning quilting done by Darlene Griton

Of course I had so much fun making this quilt that I am making a second one for my bed with Tula Pink True Colors. I am also thinking of adding in other Tula Pink fabrics to make it larger.
