Below are the instructions for making the setting triangles cut at 8 3/4" larger.
- Cut a strip 1" wide and 10 - 10 1/2" long (10" is the bare minimum and will give you exactly what you need with very little waste.
- Fold both the strip and triangle in half and pin. Line up the half way points.
- Sew a scant 1/4" seam.
- Press toward the strip.
Place the point of a square ruler on the 90 degree point on your triangle and trim.
- The long side of the finished triangle should measure 9 3/4" or very close to it.
