Important - All measurements pertaining to the smaller size of this quilt will be contained in brackets next to the larger size. 

For example:

Sew a 2 1/2" {2"} square to another 2 1/2" {2"} square to complete step.


Supplies:

  • 80 Fabric 1, 2 7/8" {2 3/8"} squares
  • 80 Fabric 2, 2 7/8" {2 3/8"} squares
  • Basic Sewing Supplies
  • Basic Cutting Supplies

Sewing:

  • Place a Fabric 1 square & a Fabric 2 square right sides together. Make sure the side with the line is on top.
  • Sew 1/4" from the line on both sides.
  • Press open triangles toward the darker fabric.
    Note - Pressing before seperating the blocks will help make the HST units more accurate.

  • Cut apart HST units down the drawn line. Each set will yield 2 HST blocks.

  • Make 160 of these units and label them Unit A.
  • Finished unit size is 2 1/2" {2"} square.
